Final Website Update

I did it. I finally found the courage to put all of my creative materials up on the internet and was finally able to use my website as a digital portfolio that I attached to a job application. This last update of my website was completely professional. I finally was able to upload my third and longest shot film onto my Sample of My Projects portion of my site. I realized that all I had to do was make a youtube account and upload the video there and then link that to my site.

The second major addition to my site is under the section "learn about my previous projects." This is where I included my social media work with the film Art of the Prank. If you click on this image you are taken to a page that provides links to the social media accounts for the film which I was in charge of leading up to the recent release of the film on Amazon and Hulu. not only does this page provide links to the social media sites, but it also gives a brief description of the responsibilities I had while working at this position. These two additions to my site were extremely important to me because, while I was in the process of applying for a new job, the application asked for a sample of my works. This was the first time i had come across that question on an application and was 1. comfortable enough to put myself out there and show my work and 2. had a digital location where I could showcase my work in an easy to access way. I am pleased to say that I got the job and I am relatively certain that I only did because I had the digital platform to proudly showcase my material.
