Revision One Blog Post

I recently completed my first update of my website. One of the main changes I made to my site was I added an about me section.

When I added this section I decided to reinvent this site no only as a site just for class but also as a place to incorporate elements of a professional portfolio. In the about me section I use the same bio information as I have on my linked-in in account therefore making this site a professional platform. Another update I made to the website was I got rid of the generic text that was automatically added when I created the site and used my own words to give the website more of a personal touch. I additionally added links to my social media accounts.

The other main addiction I added to my website upon this revision was a separate Film Review section. This section is where I will be posting all of my screening responses from class. I was unable to figure out how to link the films from this section to a blog post so instead I just added the word document of the review. I also am posting the screening responses to the generic blog section of my site with hopes that upon the next revision of my site I will find a way to link the film review section to specific blog posts and not just the blog page itself.

As I was updating my website I had a bit of an issue with some of my photographs for my previous works section. When I place the website in preview mode these images only appear as black squares despite the fact that the media is uploaded and incorporated in my view as administrator of the website. This is something else that I hope I will be able to work out before the next revision as well. Overall I am content with the current process of the website and I am now in the process of getting a Domain so as not to have to use the generic Wix domain for much longer.
